Prime Circle New Years Eve Concert - Cape Town

New Year’s Eve 2011 is just around the corner and if you want to be with your favourite folks celebrating the arrival of 2012 then Kirstenbosch is the place to be. Hosted by Amarula, this year’s concert features the hugely popular group Prime Circle as the headline act with Idols winner Elvis Blue opening the evening. Rocking in the New Year has become a tradition at Kirstenbosch and 2011 will be going out in style. Recent winners of the SAMA Best Rock Album for their fourth studio album “Jekyll and Hyde” and an MK award winner, they shared the stage with Billboard chart topping act, 3 Doors Down, during their recent European tour. Their tours have given them global polish and while being on the road is what they love, the five members of the band agree home ground is still the best. Idols Season Six winner, Elvis Blue, has already endeared himself to a wide audience and has seen his self-titled debut album attain Gold status in less than a month from release – a superb achievement by a previously little known musician. Taking the stage at Kirtstenbosch fulfills one of his personal dreams. Elvis Blue is a man with a melodic goal with an overwhelming desire to make music that matters and his lyrics echo this. A capacity crowd is expected as these two proudly South African acts celebrate their music with their fans and toast the final sunset of 2011 before welcoming the opening hours of 2012.
