Event Description
Joburg Pride, the largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) event in Africa, celebrating its 22nd birthday on Saturday 1st October 2011 at Zoo Lake Sports Club. The Parade march starts at 11am from Zoo Lake Sports Club and continues through the streets of Rosebank to be back at around 1pm at the Zoo Lake Sports for the great entrainment by DJ Lisa Lashes as well as local bands, DJ’s and drag acts.
Attendees can expect Pride stalls, bars, food and a kiddies' play area.
The Joburg Pride Board invites Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and supporters of the community to take part in this event celebrating sexual diversity and freedoms.
